The data for these two feeds is updated each weekday from the District Department of Transportation's (DDOT) PROTRACK database. As a result of these upgrades, the crime data for 2006 and 2007 has been changed. All data downloaded through <a href="http://crimemap.dc.gov">http://crimemap.dc.gov</a> or through any of the Live Data Feeds made available on <a href="http://data.octo.dc.gov/">http://data.octo.dc.gov/</a> prior to 01/28/2008 should be deleted and replaced with the <a href="http://data.octo.dc.gov/Calendar.aspx?datasetid=3">updated data</a> now available on these sites.<br/><br/> Additionally, it should be noted that individual records of crimes are subject to change as a result of further review and investigation. Anyone downloading data through any of the Live Data Feeds should track and remove records that are flagged as "Removed" in subsequent data downloads.<br/><br/> Please note that yearly crime archives will now contain the information about crime incidents that happened in the corresponding year and not updates received during that year (for example the 2007 archive will now reflect all updates received in 2008).
